Tianyi Pavilion
 Built
to the west of Moon Lake during the Ming Dynasty, the pavilion is the
oldest library extant in China today. At first, there were 70,000 volumes
of books in its collection, and now the two-story wooden structure houses
more than 10,000 volumes. Above the main entrance on the ground floor
is a horizontal board inscribed with the name of the library. |
