Shennongjia is situated in east of Daba Mountain, neighboring the Hanjiang River in the north and the Yangtze River in the south, covering 3,250 sq. km. The Shennongding Peak is 3, 105.4 m above sea level, the highest in central China. Shennongjia sounds a mystery with its large primitive forest, exotic flowers and plants, rarely-heard birds and animals, and legendary traces of "wild man". The belts of fir trees, bamboo and cypress on the slopes look like beautiful skirt of the mountains, while the dragon spruce, booming azalea, blue sky and white clouds, green mountains echo with tech other, quite harmonious and magnificent like an oil painting.
