Qiuxia Nursery

Situated in. Jiading District of Shanghai, the Qiuxia Nursery was built in 1 502, or the 1 5th year of the Hongzhi Reign of the Ming Dynasty. Known as an "urban mountain forest", it is the oldest garden in and around Shanghai.

The ancient buildings in it look imposing, the water in the pond clear and sparkling, the forests heap up rich piles of foliage to form an overhead canopy, and the artificial hills look real. The layout is compact, with gardens contained in gardens, and one view entailed in another.
