Island of Surging Waves

The Island of Surging Waves, named after the famous Pavilion of Surging Waves in Suzhou, is one of the gardens in the Mountain Summer Resort. It is small yet finely built.

Boulders are heaped together to form a hill that surrounds the garden, with water seeping through crevices in the rocks and flowing back into the Neiqing Pond. Fish keep dillydallying between lotus flowers that grow in the pond. It is a nice place for sightseers and those looking for a short rest.
