The Guilin Botanical Gardenns are situated in Yanshan Town, Guilin City in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. They cover an area of 67 hectares and have introduced more than 2,100 species of plants, of which 181 are under state protection.

The gardens have laid out gymnospcim, palm, sago palm, medicinal herbs, potted plants, rare plints, orchid gardens and exhibition districts. The gardens have also developed a ginkgo breeding garden, a kiwi resources nurscry, an excmplary harvest garden and a cedar resources nursety.They plan to build an azalea garden, an orchid garden, an osmanthucs garden, a bamboo garden and a water plant garden. The Guilin Botanical Gardens are luxuriant and are an ideal place for sightseeing and holidays in Guilin.
